We have two ears and one tongue so that means we are wired to listen more and talk less.

We all want to be listened to. It is a beautiful gift, to be a good listener. It gives a power to your personality and a trust of you from other people around you.

There is nothing more discouraging than talking with a few people and they don't make eye contact.

People nowadays don't know how to actively listen to another person. They'll ask you a question but by the time you answer, they are talking to someone else. No eye contact, no following along, checking their cell phone. ~ Moe Margetts
