If people can’t appreciate you

If people can't appreciate you

Do your best and don’t wait for anybody’s appreciation. If you are satisfied and happy with what you did then it should be enough. If you are waiting for the satisfaction of others then you are not satisfied with your achievements. ~ Nisrine Aad

Never take anything personally. What others do has nothing to do with you, only them.

If you’re meant to be together, they will come back (same about friends), if they don’t, their mistakes, not yours.

As long as you have done your best, no one can take that away from you. You are in no way to be blamed for any derision or criticism that are directed your way. The fault lies in the narrow mindedness and jealousy of those who are so unacceptable of your efforts in a job well done. If they choose to disregard and ignore the glaring truth staring them in the eye, then more fool them. The problem lies in their petty-mindedness and ignorance which can best be described as a tunnel vision view of life in their pathetic and narrow minded attempts to belittle and depreciate your true sense of self worth. They are seriously not even worthy of your contempt. ~ Margaret Young
