My friends that I knew for many years since elementary school to junior high to high school dropped out in high school. I was devastated. They were smart but not smart enough to stay in school. One by one dropped out until I was left alone. I lost all my friends but I kept going. I went on to college & graduated. Now I have a great job with a great salary. I’m proud of myself. I still think of the all of them & often wonder what happened to them. ~ Luz Ma
