Difference between giving up & knowing when you had enough

It’s easy to tell the difference when you respect yourself.

Enough is enough when your heart gets broken so many times and enough is enough when you try so hard in life and people just put you down and have no faith in you. ~ Heather Shuler

I can say that it’s over now. I can only do so much. Moving on is difficult but holding on is the most painful part. It’s time to be happy again. ~ Rosyleen Mangaoang

One can only take so much. Having our hearts broke time and time again, move on, don’t look back, happiness is well deserved, it will happen when you least expect it. It happened to me and that was 31 years ago, still happy and very content with my life now. All because I refused to give up on myself. ~ Celia Setzer

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to realize when someone doesn’t respect or care about your feelings any longer, don’t hesitate to move on because they have made their choice and you must make yours. ~ Beverly Nelson

The difference between the two is after you decide quitting, ‘giving up’ sometimes makes you sad and regret, whereas ‘having enough’ always gives you some sort of a relief, feeling you’ve made the right decision. ~ Tomoko Hoeven
